I’ve been meditating my whole life without knowing it…
Do you know that feeling when everything is perfectly aligned and in sync? When you catch yourself ‘somewhere else’ and you suddenly come back to reality? See, you are already a meditator. You’re not lost in those moments; you’re actually found.
It happened to me often in my childhood. I was a daydreamer. I would get caught up in nature, looking up at the sky, feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin. That was more interesting to me than playing with the other kids.
Years ago, I was invited to an iRest® Yoga Nidra meditation class and was literally transformed. I was hooked. From that moment on, everything was different. I knew this was something I needed to explore. I wasn’t a meditator and had no intention of teaching meditation. But life aligned and there I was, heart wide open thinking, “I need to follow this path”.
Since that day, I’ve attended retreats, taken trainings with amazing teachers, and completed the highest level of iRest Yoga Nidra training, a two-year certification program. It’s my heart’s honor to share this with you. Opening my heart and compassion to share meditation is the easy part. The years of training and the experience of teaching, the deep dive, is what allow me the stability to be here today.
There are so many ways to describe the effects of mindfulness – I just call it AWESOME! It’s changed my life and I can’t wait to share it with you!
